Ithaca Man Accused Possessing 200 Bags Of Heroin

An Ithaca man was charged with drug possession Thursday after he was pulled over in the town of Antwerp.

State police say 30 year old Richard Hairston had 200 bags of heroin when he was pulled over on County Route 26.

Troopers say he also had less than 25 grams of marijuana.

Hairston was charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was arraigned in Antwerp town court and taken to Jefferson County jail without bail.
