Tuesday marks the 226th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution.

Students at Jefferson Community College celebrated Constitution Day by registering to vote and testing their knowledge of the historic day with a quiz.

"We have little copies of the U.S. Constitution, just little things like that to help get students involved more," said Kyle Clarke, Campus Activities president.

"We wanted the students to be able get their voice heard, be able to vote and put their input in on any of the issues at hand," said Tom Wojcikowski, assistant director of Student Activities.

Every year, the college holds the event to register new voters.

At least 14 students registered Tuesday.
