JCC Ladies Hope For Conference Title

After a superb regular season, the Jefferson Community College women's basketball team is hoping to add a conference title to the trophy case this weekend.

An 18-5 regular season record buys them a chance at the title. The Lady Cannoneers begin with a semifinal match against Finger Lakes at Onondaga Community College Friday night. They hope to play the conference championship game that begins at noon on Saturday.

They head into the weekend with high honors for team member Jasmine Canady, who was named Mid-State Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and coach Josh Woodward, who was named MSAC Coach of the Year.
