JCC Residence Hall Takes Shape

The new residence hall at Jefferson Community College is starting to take shape.

Construction is well underway on campus.

Workers are busy getting the walls in place, laying cement and putting the final touches on the building's first floor.

With three more floors to go, they still have a lot of work ahead of them.

Faculty-Student Association President Jack Donato says the goal is to finish the building before Thanksgiving so the workers can then focus on everything inside, like electrical and plumbing jobs, over the winter.
