JCC Students Celebrate End Of First Week Of Classes

One down, only 14 more to go.

That's the feeling on the Jefferson Community College campus now that the first week of classes is in the books.

Both students and faculty came together Friday to relieve a little bit of the first-week stress.

Fall Fest included food, games and live music by Lloyd Dobler Effect.

"We love it because we get to know our students and help the community and we bond with each other and we just enjoy each other," said Dr. Joanna Chrzanowski, a member of the English department at JCC.

Fall Fest wrapped up an opening week full of activities that the school put on for the students.

It included free breakfast and some music on campus.

There are now 14 weeks left in JCC's fall semester.
