JCC Students Show Creative Side In Art Exhibit

Tools

Students at Jefferson Community College are showing their creative side in a new art exhibit.

The gallery has a display of various interpretations of mandalas.

Mandalas are used around the world for meditation and healing.

The symbols in the artwork represent order in a greater universe and are made using different shapes - but mostly circles - to show there's a center in this changing world.

The art students used watercolors, acrylics and ceramics to capture the effect.

The art will be on display in the Jules Center until May 1.
