JCC Worker Shares Ground Zero Pictures For First Time

Tools

At Jefferson Community College Wednesday, pictures didn't just tell a thousand words, they told the story of a New York City firefighter rescued on 9/11.

JCC employee Chuck Ruggiero says he wanted to give people a glimpse of what it was like for his cousin, Glen Clapp, who was trapped in World Trade Center Building 7 after it collapsed.

Ruggiero showed pictures from that rescue mission for the first time.

"This is actually inside Ground Zero looking at the destruction in a way that most people have never seen before," he said.

Ruggiero says it was a miracle his cousin was saved.
