Jefferson County Celebrates Dairy Industry

Jefferson County's dairy industry is in the spotlight.

On Friday, the lobby of the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown was filled with animals just waiting to be petted, maple syrup waiting to be tasted and cold milk that needs you to drink it. 

Not only is the festival a fun time, it's also a vehicle to teach people, young and old, about the health benefits of dairy products.

Rain or shine, the dairy festival parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

It runs from Watertown High School to the Dulles State Office Building.
