Jerry, of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Gives JCC Students Scoop On Business

An internationally-known ice cream mogul says it's possible have strong moral values and still be successful in business.

Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, paid a visit to Jefferson Community College Thursday.

As the keynote speaker for JCC's Leadership Day, Greenfield gave students the "scoop" on the business philosophy he shared with co-founder Ben Cohen.

"Ben's and my experience is that you can have a business based on values and led by values and still be very successful financially, which is counter to the conventional wisdom," said Greenfield.

Students were able to take pictures with Greenfield and get free copies of his book.

And of course, there was ice cream for everyone.
