Jury: Rojas Not Guilty Of Child Sex Crime

A St. Lawrence County jury deliberated for two and a half hours Wednesday before acquitting a Rooseveltown man of sexual abuse charges involving an eight year old girl.
 
The seven woman, five man jury reached their verdict after hearing a day and a half of testimony in the trial of 41 year old Aristides Rojas.

A previous trial, in 2011, ended in a mistrial.

Rojas was accused of having sexual contact with an 8 year old girl several times in the city of Ogdensburg and the town of Massena.

Rojas was being tried on a felony charge of first degree sexual conduct against a child.
