Killer's Father Accused Of Bribing Witness In Son's Case
The father of the man who shot and killed Jason Wing has been charged with bribing a witness to prevent his testimony in the murder investigation.
"Today's arrest was the result of a months long investigation by the New York State Police," said District Attorney Nicole Duve.
According to court documents, the Steven Trimm allegedly told the witness to create reasonable doubt in the prosecution's case.
Steven Trimm was arraigned in county court Tuesday and ordered held in the county jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Bail was posted a short time later by Steven Trimm's sister.
He is scheduled to be back in court May 28.
