Lake & River Waters Approach 'Alert' Levels

Water levels on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River are approaching what's being described as "alert" levels.

That's according to the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. 

As a result, mariners are being asked to lighten their loads to deal with levels that are expected to do down even further in the coming weeks.
