Lawyer Says Caller Threatened Her To Drop $50M Lawsuit
Charu Narang has been practicing law for the last 12 years.
During that time, she says has never been threatened in connection with a case - until now.
She claims in the sexual harassment lawsuit that a detective took topless photos of her under the guise of catching online sexual predators.
Narang says she received a phone call from a restricted number Thursday afternoon.
The caller stated he was connected to the sheriff's department.
The caller also reportedly said the office would pull Narang over every time she drove her car and make her life unbearable.
She said she asked the caller if he was threatening her; he said he was just letting her know how things were going to be.
He then reiterated the threats, she said.
She also sent Paulsen a letter recounting the incident.

Her husband has contacted his chain of command to report the threat.
Narang said Rice has not received any threats.
County Attorney David Paulsen says the county clerk's office received a similar threatening phone call, which has also been reported to state police.
We've been unable to reach Sheriff John Burns for comment.
