Legislator: 'I Take Full Responsibility' For DWIJefferson County legislator James Nabywaniec, (R-Calcium), said Saturday that he takes 'full responsibility' for a driving while intoxicated arrest earlier in the week. State police said Nabywaniec was stopped on the side of Route 11 in the Town of Leray Thursday night, where he was approached by a trooper. A subsequent test showed Nabywaniec had a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent. The legal limit in New York is 0.08 percent. Nabywniec told 7 News he was returning home from a dinner with family and friends when the incident occured. "I take full responsibility for my actions," he said. "I will work through the process to put this matter behind me." He is due in court on September 24.
