Level 3 Sex Offender Accused Of Molesting Girl

A Level 3 sex offender from Lewis County is now accused of sexually abusing and forcibly touching a 13 year old girl.

State police arrested 34 year old, Samson Watkins of of McAlpine Street in Lyons Falls.

He's charged with first-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching.

According to police, Watkins molested a 13 year old girl at a residence in the village of Turin on Saturday night.

Watkins was arraigned in Lowville Village Court.

He's being held without bail in the county jail due to numerous previous felony convictions.
 
Police said Watkins is currently on parole and is a Level 3 registered sex offender.

He is scheduled to reappear in the Lowville Village Court on February 14 at 3 p.m.
