Lewis County Man Charged With AssaultA Castorland man was charged with assault over the weekend after he allegedly punched another man in the face. State police say they responded to a report of a man being assaulted in the front yard of his Roberts Road home. Charged with third degree assault was 23 year old Michael Tehonica. The 21 year old victim received a broken nose and a fractured eye socket and needed several stitches above his eye. He was taken to Lewis Country General Hospital where he was treated and released. Tehonica was released to appear in court at a later date. Police say the investigation is continuing. |
