Lewis County Woman Faces Child Endangerment ChargesA Port Leyden woman is accused of using excessive corporal punishment on a 6 year old child. State police say 29 year old Shawna Ferris was arrested Friday after a babysitter noticed a bruise on the child's face. Ferris was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was ordered to appear in Port Leyden village court at a later date. |
