License Renewed For Benchmark Family Services

It looks like better days are ahead for Benchmark Family Services in Watertown.

The preschool and daycare center learned Sunday that its license has finally been renewed.

The state suspended its childcare license last year after finding numerous violations.

Now that those have been addressed, Benchmark is looking forward to a brighter future serving children with and without disabilities.

"It's important that the community understands that you can have your license suspended, but you can come back even better and that's where we're at today," said Marguerite Feistel, owner of Benchmark Family Services.

Feistel says Benchmark has plenty of openings for children ages six weeks to six years with and without disabilities.
