Lightning Sparks Barn Fire, Officials Say

Emergency officials say lightning was the likely cause of a fire that destroyed a barn in St. Lawrence County overnight.

Firefighters from six departments were called to the fire on Gilmour Road in the town of Morristown around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
 
They battled the blaze until early Thursday morning.
 
The property is owned by Robert Gilmour.
 
No one was injured.
