7 News reporter Chris Horvatits ventured into the area hit by lake effect snow Tuesday morning and reported back several times by telephone.
Click on the picture above for his live 6:30 a.m. call-in on 7 News This Morning, when he was on County Route 69, between Adams and Rodman.
Horvatits reports that visibility is poor, mostly due to blowing and drifting snow. Some people are going ahead with their commutes, others seem to be staying home.
Click on the picture below for his second live report, this one at 7 a.m. from Rodman.
By shortly before 8 a.m., Horvatits was on Route 177 -- he thinks -- somewhere between Rodman and Barnes Corners. Click on the picture below for his third live report. He says visibility is improving as the sun rises.
Below the third video clip are a pair of pictures Horvatits sent from the scene via his cell phone. The first was taken shortly before 7 a.m. through his windshield. The second was taken after sunrise in the town of Pinckney.
