Lockdown Lifted After Bomb Threat At Canton School
Canton Middle School went into lockdown mode for a time Friday morning due to a bomb threat.
Officials said a student found the threat scribbled on a stall in a boys' bathroom and alerted a teacher. Law enforcement agencies including officers from the village police department and New York State Police were called. A search of the middle school was conducted using a bomb sniffing dog. No threat was found. Following the search, the lockdown was lifted and classes resumed. |
