The longtime heads of Bernier, Carr & Associates are retiring at the end of the year, the company announced Tuesday.
Bernard Brown, the CEO, (seen in the picture) and Pamela S. Beyor, who chairs the firm's board, have been with the firm for 29 and 28 years respectively.
"I look forward to pursuing a number of personal interests, and to devote more time to favorite community based organizations, my Church and my family" Brown was quoted as saying in a statement.
“Bernie and I intend to remain active by continuing to contribute to the firm and the community in a different way. It is very exciting," said Beyor in the same statement.
Rick W. Tague, company president, announced that Kris D. Dimmick, PE, has been named the Vice President of Operations, and will assume the day to day management of the firm. Dimmick joined the firm in 1991, serving as a member of the its management team and Principal-in-Charge of many of the firm’s local municipal clients.
“There has not been a significant change in the leadership of the firm in the past 15 years," said Dimmick. "We have every confidence that the remaining Partners will lead the firm well into the future.”
Bernier, Carr & Associates is an architecture, engineering and construction management firm based in Watertown.
