Lowville Man Found, Arrested & Jailed In Connection With Attack

A Lowville man, who has been on the lam since the beginning of the month, has been arrested.

State police had been looking for 33 year old Michael Enslow in connection with a domestic violence case.

Police asked the public for help in finding him and it paid off Wednesday.

According to police, they received a tip saying Enslow would be in the parking lot of Northland Plaza in Watertown at approximately 5 p.m.

Officials said he was taken into custody without incident.

Enslow was charged with two counts of second-degree strangulation , one count of third-degree menacing, one count of third-degree assault  and one count of second-degree unlawful imprisonment. 

He was was arraigned Thursday morning in Lewis County Court and ordered held in the county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond.

The charges stem from a July 8 incident at Whitaker Park in the town of Martinsburg in Lewis County.

It is alleged that Enslow attacked and assaulted his former girlfriend, Lori Snyder.
