Lowville Students Enjoy Older VisitorsIt's a long standing tradition, and this year's grandparents and older friends day at Lowville Academy didn't disappoint. Around 800 visitors visited the school recently to spend time with their favorite elementary school students. The grandparents toured classrooms and shared lunch with the students. For many of the grandparents, even though they see their grandchildren often, there's something special about spending time together at school. "This is about the sixth time we came here for this grandparents day," Leon Reape said. The day was extra special for a lot of students. Not only did they get to spend time with their grandparents, they also got ice cream as a special treat. Most Popular |
