Lunch & Skate At Watertown Ice Arena

Looking for something fun to do during your next lunch break?

It's as easy as visiting the Watertown Municipal Arena for what's being billed as Lunch and Skate.

Use your break to get some exercise and grab a bite to eat. 

You're being encouraged to bring friends or co-workers.

The rink is open from noon until 2:30 p.m. each week day.

"It's relaxing, but it's a good workout and something different to try if you haven't been on the ice," said Celia Cook, program manager for the city's Parks & Recreation Department.

Starting next week, the concession area will be open for you to get lunch on Thursdays and Fridays.

The Lunch and Skate program continues through the rest of the ice skating season.

Admission is $2, and if you need skates, you can rent some for another $2.
