Man Accused In Prostitution Of Teen In WatertownA Syracuse teenager missing since June has been found in Watertown working as a prostitute. State police say the 15 year old girl turned up during an investigation into prostitution at Watertown-area motels. Charged with second-degree promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child was 29 year old Eric Oliver of Syracuse. Police said their investigation began after they were contacted by the girl's mother, who had heard the teen was working as a prostitute in the Syracuse and Watertown areas. According to court documents, the mother saw her daughter in photographs and advertisements for escort services on the web site www.backpage.com. Oliver was arraigned in Watertown City Court and sent to Jefferson County Jail without bail. Oliver is listed as a Level 2 sex offender on the state's Sex Offender Registry.
