A Utica man is accused of causing $6,000 worth of damage to a Lewis County car wash last summer.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 19 year old Marcus Borggreen on felony charges of third-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.

The charges stem from a July 2012 incident at the North Country Car Wash in Lyons Falls.

Officials said two control panels that operate the car wash were damaged.

Following an ongoing investigation, Borggreen was arrested on a warrant and arraigned in Lowville Village Court.

He was ordered held in the county jail in lieu of $7,500 bail or $15,000 bond.
