Man Accused Of Stealing From Employer
A 38 year old Lewis County man is accused of stealing more than $8,700 from Longway's Truck Stop, where he worked as the store manager.
State police arrested John Garrison of 5478 State Route 410 in Castorland.
He's charged with felony counts of third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.
According to police, Garrison altered several Comdata checks and stole approximately $8,753 between November 29, 2013 and January 08, 2014.
Garrison was employed as the store manager for Longway's Truck Stop on Route 37 in the town of Pamelia.
Garrison was arraigned in Pamelia Town Court and ordered held in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond pending grand jury action.
