A Rochester man is being held in the Lewis County Jail after allegedly filling up at a gas station and driving off without paying.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 23 year old Miguel Raspaldo.

Raspaldo allegedly filled up at the Stewart's gas station at 3906 Route 12 in Lyons Falls Monday and drove off without paying.

The store clerk provided deputies with a description and they were able to pull him over as he drove on Route 12 in the town of Lowville.

During questioning, deputies said they discovered Raspaldo has 12 active suspensions on his driver's license.

Raspaldo was arraigned in Lowville Town Court and was ordered held in the county jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
