Man Allegedly Strikes Four Pedestrians With Car
A Fort Drum man is facing a long list of charges after he allegedly struck four people with his car outside Crazy Legs Saloon in Watertown late Saturday night.
24-year-old Brent Monday is charged with four counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, unreasonable speed, reckless driving, unsafe start, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Watertown police say Monday was driving east on Exchange Street just before 11 p.m., when the vehicle accelerated and struck four pedestrians who were standing in the street. He then continued driving south on Scio Street before being stopped by police.
The four pedestrians suffered minor injuries, but none went to the hospital for treatment.
Monday is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
