A Watertown man was arrested over the weekend after his ex-wife was allegedly forced to subdue him with pepper spray during a domestic dispute.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies say Anthony Peagues allegedly followed his ex-wife from Watertown to a home on Fort Drum, where entered the garage and got into a fight with his ex-wife in front of their 1 and 2 year old children.

Deputies say there was an order of protection against Peagues.

He was charged with first degree criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child, third degree criminal trespassing, and second degree trespassing.

He is scheduled for an appearance in LeRay town court at a later date.

Another order of protection was issued.
