Man Charged After Snowmobile Jumps 70 feet

Lewis County Sheriff's deputies say a man was ejected from his snowmobile after he hit a jump and flew a distance of 70 feet.

Deputies say 28 year old Kenneth Polito of Burns Harbor, Indiana jumped a hill in a field off Route 12 in the town of West Turin.

Polito was ejected from his sled when it landed, after reportedly traveling 70 feet in the air.

He was transported to St Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica for complaints of chest pains.

He was released and ticketed for imprudent speed, among other charges.
