Man Charged With Heroin Possession

Two men living in housing for recovering addicts in Canton were arrested on drug charges Tuesday.

Canton police say they found bundles of heroin and hypodermic needles in a car driven by 26 year old Zachary Racine.

He was charged with fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.

Also arrested was 23 year old Patrick Frender. He was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.

Both men lived in what police describe as an assisted living program for recovering addicts at Law Lane in Canton.

Police say they are continuing their investigation and more charges are pending.
