Man Charged With Sexually Abusing 2 Developmentally Disabled Men

A Port Leyden man has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing two people who are developmentally disabled.

State police say 68 year old James Villiere was charged with second degree criminal sexual act, second degree sexual abuse, and two counts of endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

Police say an eight-month investigation revealed that Villiere allegedly had sexual content with two men in the town of Lyonsdale, both of whom are developmentally disabled.

Villiere was arraigned in Lowville village court and sent to Lewis County jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
