Man Crashes Car Not Far From Home

A Potsdam man crashed his car not far from home and received a few injuries and a DWI charge.

State police say 36 year old Brad Cordwell of the Baker Road was driving on that road when his vehicle left the pavement, struck a tree and overturned.

He was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for treatment of cuts to his face, head and legs.

Cordwell was charged with driving while intoxicated and unreasonable speed.

He will appear in Potsdam town court at a later date.
