Man Faces Animal Cruelty And Drug Charges


A 33 year old Parishville man is in the St. Lawrence County Jail facing animal cruelty and drug charges.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Kevin Campbell of 61 County Route 56 on a warrant.

Campbell is accused of failing to provide enough food, water and shelter for his dog.

While deputies were arresting him, they said they found Campbell in possession of five Adderall XR pills, which is a Schedule II controlled substance.

Adderall XR contains amphetamine.

Campbell was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and animal cruelty.

He is being held in the county jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
