Man Injured In Lewis County Snowmobile Accident

The Lewis County Sheriff's Department investigated a snowmobile accident that sent a man to the hospital with a head injury.

The mishap occurred Thursday on Ten Mile Crossing Road in the town of Greig.

Officials said 34 year old Eric Desanctis of Valatie, New York, lost control of his Ski-Doo, left the trail and struck a tree.

Desanctis was taken to Lewis County General Hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.
