Tools

Watertown police are investigating a stabbing that happened just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A white male was stabbed at the corner of Franklin Street and Flower Avenue East, in the 700 block of Franklin Street.

(Note: Our earlier reports incorrectly said that it happened at Flower Avenue West.)

Guilfoyle Ambulance crews treated the man, who was then airlifted to a hospital in Syracuse where he was in stable condition Wednesday night, police said.

A 7 News reporter saw the man being treated, and then saw the man get up and walk over to a waiting stretcher. His wound appeared to be to his mid-section.

His attacker was arrested Wednesday night police said, but could not provide the man's name or the charges.
