A Port Leyden man was arrested for driving while intoxicated, after stopping to ask for directions.

Lewis County Sheriff's deputies say they were called to a hunting camp on the Abbey Road early Sunday morning on a complaint of an unwanted person.

That person, 23-year-old James Lynch, Jr., had allegedly been driving with a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit, and had driven to the camp after becoming disoriented to ask for directions.

His B.A.C.: .16%.

Lynch was arrested and issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Greig Court.
