Many Bargains Found At Clarkson 'Garage Sale'

It was busy on the Clarkson University campus Tuesday where dozens of people walked away with some great deals at Clarkson's annual "garage sale".

The university sold many items it no longer needed from renovations at the Woodstock Village and Moore House residence.

They were getting rid of everything from desks, dressers and chairs to used refrigerators and other big-ticket items.

"We like to re purpose our furniture and give back to the community when we can," said Clarkson's Lindsay Soule.

"We're all about sustainability and making sure that the items we have go to good use."

Officials say the sale helps the college recycle things it no longer has use for and gives community residents some bargains at the same time.
