Saint Anthony's in Watertown celebrated its centennial Sunday.
The Roman Catholic church located on Arsenal street in Watertown was founded in 1913. Bishop Terry LaValley came down from Ogdensburg to help celebrate along with local priests. The church has played a big role in the community in that part of Watertown and many of the clergy who taught at, learned at, and served Saint Anthony's came back this evening.
"A lot of the sisters who used to teach are here, it's a great celebration, and it's a sort of a reunion if you will," said Fr. Donald Robinson, pastor.
And of course, there was a meal to follow, and that was catered by none other than Pete's restaurant.
