Massena Game Store Owner Indicted On Rape Charges

A Massena businessman has been named in a four count indictment for allegedly forcing an 18 year female to engage in sexual intercourse inside his locked East Orvis Street store.
 
A grand jury indicted 35 year old James Roshia on the following charges:

- first-degree rape
- first-degree criminal sexual act
- first-degree sexual abuse
- second-degree unlawful imprisonment

Roshia is alleged to have locked the female inside his Time Capsule Game store on May 1 and sexually assaulted her.

The alleged victim managed to escape after a male friend she texted on her cell phone for help arrived at the store.

Roshia remains jailed on $50,000 cash bail.
