Massena Man Faces Child Pornography Charges

A Massena man is facing child pornography charges.

State police say 34 year old Christopher Durand was charged with felony counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

Troopers say the state police Internet Crimes against Children Task Force and Computer Crimes Unit started the investigation .
Durand was arraigned in Massena village court and committed to St. Lawrence County jail on $50,000 bail.

Police say they're continuing to investigate and more charges are expected.
