Men Indicted For Allegedly Giving Drugs, Having Sex With Teens

A Jefferson County grand jury has indicted two men for allegedly supplying teenage girls with marijuana and having sexual contact with them.

Indictments were handed up Thursday against 50 year old Roland Frickey, Jr. and 30 year old Clifford Mele.

Their home addresses were unavailable.

The men are accused of having sexual contact with girls ages 13 and 14 in the town of LeRay last November and December.

They also allegedly supplied the girls with marijuana.

Frickey was additionally accused of writing a sexually explicit letter to the 14 year old girl.

Both men were arrested in connection with the alleged crimes on March 29.

Frickey was released from jail after posting $20,000 bond, while Mele was freed after posting $5,000 bond.

Frickey was indicted on the following charges: 

- second-degree criminal sale of marijuana
- child in sexual performance (2 counts)
- second-degree criminal sex act (2 counts)
- second-degree rape (2 counts)
- endangering the welfare of a child (13 counts)
- third-degree sexual abuse (3 counts)
- unlawfully dealing with a child (3 counts)

Mele was indicted on the following charges:

- second-degree criminal sale of marijuana
- endangering the welfare of a child (5 counts)
- third-degree sexual abuse (2 counts)
- unlawfully dealing with a child
