Miss TI Gives Back To Program With Gift-Wrapping FundraiserIt's not just pageants and runways for Miss Thousands Islands. Alison Carlos, Miss Thousand Islands 2012, was busy gift wrapping this weekend for anyone who brought unwrapped presents to the Ritz Spa and Salon. Donations made benefit the Miss Thousand Islands scholarship fund, an award that Carlos says has made a big difference in her life. "It's been so beneficial to me, personally," she said. "It's helping me through JCC right now and then I'll be attending Syracuse University next fall." For those who missed out, Miss Thousand Islands will be back wrapping gifts Friday at the Ritz, located on Watertown's Coleman Avenue. Most Popular |
