One week after the search began for a missing Lowville boater, crews have recovered his body.

45-year-old David Tuttle had been missing since the morning of April 21st, when the boat he was on capsized on Lake Ontario, about half a mile from Henderson.

At about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, divers found his body in around 40 feet of water.

The Jefferson County sheriff's department, the county STAR team and state environmental conservation police were joined by local fire crews and volunteers in the week-long search.

A second boater who was on the boat with Tuttle was rescued from the water shortly after the accident.
