An Ogdensburg man was injured when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the town of Oswegatchie Sunday night.

State police say 30 year old Joseph Peets was riding his motorcycle on Route 37 when he struck a vehicle heading in the opposite direction that turned in front of him onto Route 68 just outside Ogdensburg.

Peets was ejected from the bike. He was taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg for treatment.

The driver of the second vehicle, 28 year old Patricia Pierce of Richville, was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection, aggravated unlicensed operation, and uninspected motor vehicle.

She will answer the charges in Oswegatchie town court at a later date.
