It's a new deal with a new price tag for the Thousand Islands Privateers.
The Watertown city council Monday night passed a new franchise agreement for next season with the pro hockey team.
Instead of the $300 dollars per game the team pays the city this season, next season the Privateers will pay $450 for each game.
There's also a new $1,000 flat fee for garbage pickup.
Despite the increases, Privateers owner Nicole Kirnan says the new agreement is a fair deal.
"In the negotiations, there was a lot of back and forth," she said.
"Obviously, when you negotiate, they start with a higher number. Obviously, we were set last week at a lower number and we met somewhere in between, so I feel comfortable with those numbers," Kirnan said.
The agreement includes a provision that allows the city to make the Privateers pay for legal fees associated with future changes to the terms and conditions of alcohol sales.
