New Rail Crossing Should Smooth Out Bumpy Route 310

Work is underway on the replacement of an old rail crossing on State Route 310 in Canton.
 
Motorists have complained for months that the existing railroad crossing was becoming a hazard.

They said it was becoming extremely bumpy to cross over, putting more wear and tear on vehicles.

Traffic is being detoured around the work site this week.

CSX crews are digging up old railroad ties and will be installing a new rail crossing.

Work is expected to be completed by Thursday.
