New Year's Babies Welcomed at North Country HospitalsThe new year brought new life to many families in the North Country. At 1:21 a.m, Kaleb Clyde was born at Carthage Area Hospital. Kaleb was the first baby born in a North Country hospital in 2012, and his mother was proud he could take the title. "I was very surprised, because I heard there was a lot of people in labor in the new year. I was very excited and surprised at the same time," said new mom Nancy Clyde. As of Sunday evening, 10 new-years-day babies were born in the North Country.
